Generic Network Systems (GNS), a leading provider of comprehensive IT solutions, would like to assure our clientele that notifications sent on behalf of Cloud Software Group regarding a Security Bulletin to address a critical severity vulnerability (CVE-2023-4966) impacting NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway have been addressed and resolved. In doing do, GNS has effectively updated these production appliances to their latest version which has an implemented fix to the potential vulnerability.
CVE-2023-4966 is an unauthenticated buffer-related vulnerability that, if exploited, could result in disclosure of sensitive information.
While GNS will continue to monitor this situation, we do not expect to experience any issues that could impact any internal network systems or GNS-managed client network systems due to the vulnerability that was identified.
